Tackle food poverty in Oxford

Help finance an electric van for Oxford Mutual Aid (OMA). OMA supports hundreds of households across Oxford who experience food poverty with food parcels and other essential items. Most of the food that is distributed is surplus, so OMA also saves food from being wasted. OMA operates from the Richard Benson Hall on Cowley Road. The van is used for both deliveries of food parcels and pick-up of surplus food across Oxford. This funding will enable us to purchase an electric van rather than an inexpensive diesel van, cutting carbon emissions significantly and reducing pollution in the city. The capital cost for this project relates to the purchase of the electric van. The operating costs relate to the insurance needed for the van for 2 years.
